Advanced List Building using Joint Ventures

There are many ways to bring in new subscribers to your Newsletter or Contact List for instance, here at LGT our members giveaway our Free Tools Package for a name and email address. Giving away free tools is an excellent way to bring in new subscribers.

There is another way that is even better! It's Called JV or Joint Venture.

Here is how it works..

Partners / Contributors

You can join a JV as either a Partner/Contributor or a Member.

A JV can take on many different names like "The September Giveaway" for an example. The JV will have a launch date and an end date. There is usually a pre launch date where the owner of the JV will look for Partners/Contributors.

To qualify as a partner or contributor you should already have a list of subscribers where you can promote the JV to. Also a partner or contributor should have a quality free gift that can be given away for a name and email address.

As a partner / contributor you would email your list looking to recruit more partners / contributors during the Pre Launch. As you bring in new contributors you will earn points from the JV Manager/Owner. Lets say you bring in 5 new partners/contributors and each partner is worth 10 points. You would earn 50 points for recruiting new partners. The more points you have the farther to the front of the page your gift will be shown. The farther your gift is to the front page the more subscribers you will have as they download your free gift.

Launch Date Arrives

Once launch date arrives all the partners mail their lists once again this time looking for members not partners / contributors. Members also will earn you points towards your gifts position. Members generally flood the JV looking for Free Gifts to download. Members have to give up their name and email address for the gift.

It's a good idea to make a good impression on these new subscribers by offering quality information that they will look forward to receiving on a regular basis. Providing your new subscribers a one time offer is also highly recommended. The offer should be well planned out and a good value. The download URL for the offer should be readily available after the sale. It's also a very good idea to have a contact page or help desk for your subscribers.
